Does the fact of distance have an impact on the inclusive museum practices? This workshop discussed participatory ethnographic museum practices from a different angle. The meeting focused on collaborations with members of descendant communities that are not represented in the local post-migrant communities and what this entails for conservational and educational museum practices.
The workshop also analyzed and compared practices of inclusion in coutries where museums are situated closely to native communities such as the Americas, New Zealand or Australia and museums in Europe where they remain guests from afar.
